Pre-dawn Open Field

You take things in and help them grow. Practical at heart. You build slowly and keep at it.

The two characters

Day Master · you己Yin Earth · Open Field

Day Branch · your seat丑Earth · Ox

Your seat: Companion (비견)

You want to stand as equals with the people close to you. Clear shares make you comfortable.

Seen from the Day Master 己, the Day Branch 丑 is Companion (비견).

What is a Day Pillar?

Your Day Pillar is the two characters of the day you were born. The top one (the Day Master) stands for you. The bottom one (the Day Branch) is the seat you stand on. It is the first pillar a Saju reading looks at for personality.

Two people with the 己丑 Day Pillar still live different years: the year, month and hour of birth set the flow.
